That happens automatically here. The squeaky, chipmunk-like sound comes from simply playing a recording faster, which raises the pitch along with the tempo. This tool stretches the timing while holding the pitch where it was, so a voice sped up to 1.5x still sounds like the same person — just talking faster.
Divide the length by the speed. An hour-long recording becomes 48 minutes at 1.25x and 40 minutes at 1.5x. Going the other way it grows: the same hour runs to 80 minutes at 0.75x and a full two hours at 0.5x. Nothing is added or removed — only the pace changes.
Yes, and 0.75x is usually the sweet spot — slow enough to keep up with, fast enough not to drag. Because the pitch is preserved, mumbled or fast speech often becomes noticeably easier to make out rather than just slower.
