Files or Pages? Two Different Jobs

It is easy to mix these up, so it is worth a sentence. This page works with whole files: you give it several PDFs and it joins them end to end, in the order you set. If instead you have one PDF whose pages are in the wrong order, that is a different job — Reorder PDF Pages moves pages around inside a single document. That is what this is — there is nothing to download and no account to create. Upload the files, set the order, and the merged PDF comes back to you. Everything happens on our server and the files are removed automatically afterwards, so nothing is left sitting on your computer either.

Each page keeps its own size. A merged document can quite happily contain A4 pages, letter-sized pages and a landscape spreadsheet one after another — nothing is stretched or cropped to match. It is worth knowing before you print, though: a document with mixed page sizes will come out inconsistently unless you tell the printer to scale everything to one size.

Partly. The pages themselves come across complete — text stays selectable, images keep their quality, and web links still open. What does not survive is the bookmark panel: if your original PDFs had a table of contents down the side, the merged file will not have one, because the pages are copied without the document's navigation structure. Links that jumped from one page to another inside a document may also not find their target any more. For most documents neither matters; for a long report you had bookmarked, it is worth knowing in advance.
